Toni Emerson is a life-long Pleasantville resident. She worked for IBM for thirty years before retiring as director of communications in 1987. She then worked in real estate with Houlihan Lawrence and became president of the Westchester County Board of Realtors.After their mothers death, she and her sisters sold their family home built by their father in the 1930s. Toni moved across the golf course to the Pleasantville Country Club, where she served on the Board of Directors and as president. Tonis volunteer activity includes the Village of Pleasantville Business Support Council; the Pleasantville Farmers Market and currently a director of its successor Foodchester Inc.; long-time member of the Chamber of Commerce, having served on the Board of Directors with responsibility for communications and continuing to work with PHS students on the VISIONS program, and the Pleasantville Lions Club, concentrating on the Lions SEE (Screening Eyes Early) program screening pre-school childrens eyes for potential problems, Lions Vacation Camp for the Blind in Rockland County, Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown Heights and the annual Relay for Life of Pace University-Pleasantville.

The Pleasantville Lions Club presents
The Pleasantville Lions Club was chartered in 1931 with a strong emphasis on service to our local community, especially to the visually impaired and the critically ill patients at the Rosary Hill Home. The Pleasantville Lions Club raises money many ways to support the Clubs various charitable activities. The Club contributes to both local worthy causes and people in need worldwide.
